Altar Guild - contact person, Eilene Buege
  • Prepare the altar for each worship service.
  • Work in teams of three.
  • A great opportunity for mothers and daughters to volunteer together.
Communion Lay Assistant - contact person, Pastor Marquardt
  • An elected possition for men of the congregation.
  • Service is a two year term. May serve as many terms as you are able.
  • Training provided.
  • Help the pastor during communion by distributing the wafers and individual cups of wine.
Counting Teams - contact person, Director of Finances
  • Work in groups of three.
  • Count the monetary contributions that are collected from worship services.
  • Take money to the bank.
Cradle Roll  - contact person, Jean Summers
  • Maintain a list of children, that includes 0-5 year olds, from the congregation.
  • Mail information from the Cradle Roll packets at the appropriate time for each child.
  • Encourage and support parents of these young children.
Garden Club - contact person, Eilene Buege
  • Maintain the variety of flower beds around the church property.
  • Plant annual and perennials as needed.
  • Mow grass as needed and trim.
  • Snow removal on walk ways during the winter months.
Jubilate Ringers - handbell choir - contact person, Neva Kimble
  • Meets Tuesday evenings from 6:00 - 7:10 p.m. September through May
  • Ability to read music.
  • Play for worship services about once a month.
  • Attend annual WELS Handbell Festivals held in spring.
  • 4 octives of handbells and 3 octives of handchimes.
  • You enjoy giving praises to God through music.
Power Point Opperators - contact person, Worship Elders
  • Turn recording devices on to record worship service.
  • Opperate the laptop computer to advance power point slides during worship service.
  • Shut down recording devices after worship service.
  • Rotating schedule.
Senior Choir - contact person, Megan Sedlar
  • Meet Tuesday evenings from 7:15 - 8:15 p.m. in the church.
  • Ability to read music helpful.
  • Sing for worship services one - two times a month.
  • You enjoy giving praises to God through song!
Sunday School - contact person, Bekah Schaffer
  • Enjoy working with children ages 3 - 12 years old.
  • Teach Bibles lessons.
  • Listen to memory work.
  • Teach new songs.
  • Occasionally sing for worship services.
Usher Teams - contact Worship Elders
  • Open to confirmed members male or female.
  • Arrive 30 minutes prior to worship service.
  • Greet worshipers when they enter the building.
  • Help the pastor prepare the church for worship.
  • Maintain order and decency in the way the service is carried out and in a manner in which the people conduct themselves.
  • Acting as a host for God by helping everyone feel welcome.
  • Promoting public relations.
  • Help close up the building after the service and Bible study.
Women's Service Group
  • All confirmed women of the congregation are part of this service group.
  • Help as needed with funerals and special events.
Youth Group - contact Mical or Bekah Schaffer
  • Meet the 2nd Saturday of each month, starting October 9, 2021
  • 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
  • Open to youth Confirmation thru High School
